Franklin County 2026 Mobile Home tax bills were mailed Friday, August 14th.
BENTON – Franklin County Collector Steve Vercellino announced today that 2026 Mobile
Home tax bills were mailed on Friday, August 14th. Payment is due no later than Friday,
October 16th, 2026.
Payments can be accepted in person at the Treasurer’s Office in the Campbell Building on the
Benton Square at 901 Public Square or by mailing to PO BOX 967 in Benton, Illinois.
For your convenience, there is a drop box on the south side of the Campbell building, or you can
make your payments online at:

Unlike real estate taxes, banks cannot accept mobile home tax payments. The Franklin County
Treasurer’s Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
If you own a mobile home and have not received your tax bill by August 31st, please call the
Treasurer’s Office at (618) 435-9800. If the bill you receive should go to someone else, please
call or return the bill to the Treasurer’s Office with the name and address of the new owner.
