📣 In recognition of February proclaimed as National Canned Food Month 🥫, the U of I Extension: Franklin, Jackson, Perry, Randolph & Williamson Counties has partnered with us to host the 3rd annual preparedness event for the community! 🏘️![]()
“Stock Your Emergency Kit and Your Local Food Pantry,” is an event to promote the awareness of canned items you can put in your emergency kit at home, as well as donate non-perishable items for local food pantries. ![]()
🗓️ Come on out to see us and our friends from the U of I Extension Office this Saturday, February 7th, from 11a-2p, at the Benton Save A Lot! We will have our agency truck there to load up with those non-perishable items to help us refill the food pantry, along with our staff to show what other items you can include in your emergency kit 🎒 at home.![]()
Thanks to the staff at the Benton Save-A-Lot for allowing us to host this event to help the community be prepared and resiliant! 👏🙌![]()
