This program represents a meaningful investment in public safety, mental health treatment, and the overall administration of justice. We are grateful to Jim Kaitschuk, Executive Director of the Illinois Sheriffs' Association, for his assistance in facilitating the initial communication and collaboration among the participating agencies. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the administrators and managers with the Illinois Department of Human Services and Centerstone for their dedication and partnership in bringing this program to Franklin County. We are especially thankful for the dedicated employees of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, who recognize the tremendous value of this program and have worked diligently over the past year to prepare for its successful launch.
